MSolutions participated in the last SAP Summit 2008 held last July 29 and 30 at the Grand Ballroom, Edsa Shangri-la Hotel. It was attended by IT professionals from different industries who got the chance to meet technology partners and business networks that can help them move their business beyond boundaries.
MSolutions sponsored two speaker slots during the summit. Mr. Manuel Christian Fong, Consulting Partner of MSolutions presented Retail SOS in the first breakout session. Mr. Fong discussed about the evolution of retail systems and current challenges to systems and solutions being faced by most of the players in today’s retail industry. It was followed by a customer success story of Sta. Lucia East Supermarket (SLES). Mr. Richard Samson presented Sta. Lucia’s business challenges before implementing SAP in their company and how their business process improved with the help of SAP and MSolutions.
It was a 2-day event highlighting informative presentations focusing on new ideas, SAP demos, series of talks and seminars about best practices per industry, and other fun-filled activities that entertained the attendees. The exhibition area was filled with guests who enjoyed visiting the sponsor’s booth to check out the latest trends in the IT industry.

MSolutions Corp. participated in the recent SAP Asia Pacific Japan Field Kick-Off Meeting ‘08. It is a yearly event conducted to draw together all SAP regional offices and SAP Partners in the APJ region. This year, it was held in Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Center (SSICEC), Singapore last January 27-29. The event was able to gather more than 2,500 delegates with nearly 850 partners for two and half days of learning, networking and fun – the highest number of delegates participating rate ever. The theme of the event was “Take it HIGHER!”.
It was announced that the year 2007 was a Stellar year for SAP. It was able to deliver it’s strongest growth since 2000 with 2 major innovations: Enhancement Packages and SAP By Design. APJ grew to a One-Billion-Euro-Region with a strong growth in SME market. SAP also announced it’s acquisition of Business Objects, the leading Business Intelligence Solution in the market. This tool can help executives in creating analytical reports to make sound decisions for their company. With the good performance last year, the priorities now are:
1.To continuously expand the SME market, Business Process Platform Adoption and Monetization
2.To Successful Integration and Leverage of Business Objects. Various tracks were provided about innovation, technology and trends to the delegates with relevant information to their business.
